Musician
A talented musician living in Nashville needed to set his business apart from the overpopulated country scene. To advertise his availability to teach lessons, perform live, and assist in recording sessions, the client wanted a modern and vivid brand that avoided cliched musical imagery. The logo is formed by his initials, TW, using the sans serif font Montserrat, then subtly calls forth the image of a guitar's headstock using the circles. The horizontal alternate version is also a subtle nod to guitars without solidly defining the shape. The business cards incorporate repetition through stripes and a pattern comprised of the logo itself as a way of representing sound waves and rhythm. The client is very satisfied with a design that is clean, simple, bold, modern, and fun.
