A local salon needed a website to enable newer stylists to build clientele and legitimacy. Responsive design for easy mobile viewing was a must along with link to directions, a Google map, and parking information to increase new client convenience. The style needed to appeal to clientele's widely varying age range, therefore layout is simple, easy to navigate, and combines modern sans serif fonts with a more traditionally fashionable serif and touches of femininity with a script font, all from Google and quickly available everywhere. Colors are warm and welcoming, feminine without being overly so. Logos were designed following these same concepts, balancing new and old and based upon paintings and furniture within the salon. Site is a highly customized Wordpress child theme using a page builder, HTML5, and CSS3 for total control.
